Back in the (Old) York Groove

For our last weekend in York we were set on exploring and invited our friend Laura to help. The weather stayed surprisingly sweet for an English weekend and the city glistened under three days of sunshine. Saturday was our day to really feel out the city and after some tough decision making, we decided to spend the whole of our day really exploring the Minster, York's cathedral, to really give it the proper time it deserved. This also happened to include a tower climb boasting 275 steps. We joked about the signs they placed at the opening asking people to make sure they were physically able to climb that many steps before buying tickets, but I can't say we weren't breathing a little harder by the time we reached the top.
Zach loves Laura, Winry, Holly! We swear we didn't graffiti that, but it sure was serendipidous! Winry was with us in spirit that day (really just hanging out with Anita and Max, Anita's border collie) but the next day was all about her and the picnic in the park.
